Tile work

We've recently had some tile work done at our house!  Our front room (aka the pool table/man cave) room, was carpeted ever since we moved in.  It was kinda nasty, very "worn" because it is a very high traffic room - you have to walk through it to get up or downstairs, or into our kitchen, family room, laundry room.  I would have loved to replace the carpet with hardwood floors, but unfortunately, hardwood floors are not too popular in the southwest!  People in these parts much prefer tile, and we put that into consideration as we know we won't be here forever & we will have to sell this house at one point!  So we had the carpet  (and there was a little bit of old "ugly" tile by the front door) all ripped up and had all matching, beautiful tile put down!  It looks fabulous!  And since the front room goes right into the kitchen, we are going to have the tile guy come back after our vacation in June to rip up the kitchen tile and put the new tile in the kitchen as well!  This way everything will match, and look great!  Here are some pics of the tile process!  (I was gone the morning the carpet was ripped up, so I never got a pic of just the carpet!)

Tile - halfway through the process

The finished product!  We love it!
