Chopsticks

Tonight we decided to go out to dinner to Azuma.  It's a Japanese Habachi restaurant, and I've been craving their food for quite some time! (Thank you pregnancy!)  We ordered Molly a kids habachi chicken meal, which came with chopsticks to use.  Let me tell you, she got quite a kick out of those things!  I brought other food along with us b/c I had a feeling she wouldn't eat their food, and her favorite thing to eat with the chopsticks....... was yogurt!  Oh Molly!

Sneaky Sneaky

Gunnar was making dinner tonight (not a usual thing, but I had made dinner a little earlier for a friend and her family and had just got back from dropping it off to them, and while I was gone, my wonderful husband started dinner for me) So, as I come in Molly gets all excited that I'm back (I was literally gone for 20 minutes) and shes telling me all sorts of exciting things, and asking for every single snack in the pantry.  I nicely tell her no, and explain that we are having dinner shortly.  She goes to the pantry and stands infront of the shelves just playing (or so I think).  I go into the kitchen to assist Gunnar, and we get talking about random things.  Probably 5-10 minutes go by, and Molly is still "playing" at the pantry.  And hasn't made a peep!  (Instant trouble right?)  Thinking that this is kinda weird, I go to see what shes doing and she is literally standing IN the pantry, shoving oreos in her mouth at warp speed!!!!  I call Gunnar over, we CRACK UP hysterically (yet quietly, b/c she still has no idea we're watching her) And she finally turns around....oreos in both hands and says "Oh, hi!"  With black oreo covering every tooth in her mouth!  (total picture moment and I didn't get one!)  Then, turned back around as if what she was doing was completely fine!  - What a sneaky little creeper!  I have to admit, I love moments like this!

Pregnancy Update

I realized I never wrote a post about my pregnancy!  Pretty sure everyone that reads my blog knows this by now!  Anyway - I am currently 22 weeks along, and yesterday, I had my 20 week ultrasound (a little late, but I had to reschedule it twice!) And I'm happy to say, everything looks great with baby Maci!  Even the second time around, it's amazing to me to see her and hear that she is growing and developing right on track!  It's also soo cool to feel a kick, and see her move on the screen at the same time!  Molly is very excited about having a baby sister!  If you ask her "What's in Mommy's belly" she'll say "A baby!"  And if you ask her "Baby who?"  She says "Baby Maci!!!!!"  It's adorable!  I just know she'll be a big help when Maci finally arrives, and I can't wait to see them develop that sisterly bond like I have with my sisters!  :)

Profile view

You can see part of her face in the 3D image on the left (she kept her hand infront of her face most of the time, little stinker!)  And another profile view on the right.

Can't wait to meet baby Maci!  <3

Trick or Treating

We went trick or treating tonight as a family.  Molly had soo much fun, I couldn't believe how into she was!  She dressed up as.......Minnie Mouse, surprise surprise!  And the ears were her favorite part!  She did not want to take them off!!
We've been practicing saying trick or treat, but she would always say "tickle tickle treat" it was adorable!  Then tonight when she actually went trick or treating, she was saying "Trick or Tower"  And I'm thinking she is getting that from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Halloween special, because they go to a party at the Trick or Treat Tower.  Either way, it was adorable!  And we were so proud because every time someone gave her candy, she didn't even need to be reminded to say "Thank you!"  :)
Gunnar wheeled her around in her wagon around our street, and I would walk her up to the door.  Then when we came home to give out candy, everytime the doorbell rang, she'd RUN to the door saying "KIDS!!!!!"  She had a blast tonight!
