New pictures

Here are a few new pictures of Maci (and one of both of the girls!)  We are all doing great, and really couldn't be happier!!!

Love this little face!

Leaving a present in her diaper!

Wearing her "little sister" shirt from my Mommom and Poppy!  How about all of that hair??

Maci is not a fan of the pacifier, but who knows, maybe she'll be a thumb sucker??

Testing out their new double stroller from Grammy and Poppop!  This pictures makes Molly seem like such a big kid!  - We took the girls to Dicks (one just opened up near us....big disappointment, the one in Deptford is way better!)  But it was our first time testing out the stroller, and the girls did great!

Maci Rose Fox

For those of you that follow the blog, you already know - but Maci has arrived!

Maci Rose Fox (Rose is after my great grandmother "Old Mommom" as we call her, who will be 95 this May!)
Maci was 7lbs 15oz and 20.5 inches long.  Born on March 20th at 7:29pm

We are all doing well!  We were actually discharged from the hospital 24 hours after she was born!  It was nice to get home!  My parents were in town, and kept Miss Molly busy while we were in the hospital which was really nice!  Molly was such a proud big sister when she came to the "hospitee" as she called it, to visit us!

Since we've been home, Molly has been a wonderful helper.  She loves to help during diaper changes, she lays the mat down, gets the wipes ready for me, and the diaper as well!  She puts used burp clothes and bibs in the laundry room for me, and gives the baby her binky when she needs it!  It's great!

Maci is doing great, she sleeps well, eats well and is just soo darn cute!  I am truly on cloud 9 these days - just loving every second of my family!  Gunnar has been home this week, and after what has been a very busy month of March work-wise for him, it's been soooooo nice to have him around!

Below are a few pictures from the hospital and our first couple of days home.  Enjoy!

Ready to come home!

The proud big sister!

Love this face!  We can't believe how much Maci resembles Molly when Molly was this age!

Caught a smile during a baby dream!

Random Pics

I keep running out of memory space on my phone b/c I never delete pictures.....that's because I never email them to myself to save them to my computer!  So I finally sat down and did that this evening, so below are a bunch of random pictures from the past few months!  Enjoy!!!

This was from our trip to NJ in November, walking with Poppop through the airport!

Molly and her cousin Melanie

Cousins!  Billy (on the floor) Madison, Molly, Melanie, Emma, and Kacie

Eating some AMAZING ice cream from Lapps in Lancaster!

The entire trip home, she cracked me up with this suitcase!  She had to wheel it around herself, even through the airports.  She would accidentally cut people off and just walk all over the place!  She was so proud of herself for being a "big kid"

Good Morning!!

Molly and her Valentine's Day bear from Daddy!

Daddy took it upon himself to fix Molly's ponytail!

She has become a recent fan of marshmallow fluff!

Just being silly!

We stopped at the cupcake shop for a little snack!  :)

This girl insists on wearing dress up clothes most days!  Even out in public, or to playdates!  Too funny!

This was after a birthday party Molly attended at Chuck E Cheese.  She had a good time, and although the place was a bit too old for her, and she literally didn't want to do anything but play skeeball, everytime we drive by the place she says "Yook Mommy, its Chuck E Cheese, Fun with your friends!"  She was a big fan of the party hats, and this picture was taken about 5 minutes after leaving the place....it really wore her out!

36 weeks

My pregnancy is coming to an end....very quickly!  It has really seemed to fly by (compared to my pregnancy with Molly!)  I had a doctors appt this past Friday and we have scheduled an induction (I was induced with Molly) so that we can plan on having my parents out to stay with Molly while we are at the hospital.  We are going in on March 18th in the evening.  We chose to go in at night (we did this with Molly as well) b/c the whole induction process seems to be such a waiting game....why not sleep while you wait right?  Plus, my midwife was pretty certain she was on duty that night, so that would be great if she could deliver Maci.  So unless Miss Maci decides to come early, we're looking at a March 18th or March 19th birthday!
Below is a current picture... 36 weeks along!  Can't wait for Maci to arrive!! :)

My friend Nikki was kind enough to throw me a baby shower a couple weekends ago!  It was nice to get together with a few friends to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Miss Maci!  I took some pictures of the decor, and some stuff Nikki made, it was such a fun party!!

Nikki made this adorable banner!!

Potty Training

The weekend of New Years we decided was the lucky weekend we would begin the potty training process!  Molly has been showing signs of readiness, and with it being a three day weekend for Gunnar, we figured it was the perfect time to do so! She woke up Saturday morning, and was put right in underwear!  It was the first time she had ever put a pair of underwear on, and we just reminded her every 10-15 minutes to tell mommy or daddy when she needed to go potty.  We learned during the process, that she really needed to take her mind off of the whole "going" part of going potty, so we had to put her little potty seat out in the family room, with a basket of books/toys to distract her!  After a handful of accidents, and having to switch from using the big potty, to getting a little potty seat, she really took to it well!  I am happy to report that since the process has started, she hasn't had an accident in over 2 weeks! (And she actually goes to the bathroom in the bathroom and not on a potty seat in the family room!) haha  We are so proud of her!  She still sleeps in a pull up, so I'm not going to claim she's 100% trained, but she's doing great!  She's in underwear all day, we can go out to stores, ride in the car etc and if she has to go she's great about telling me!  Way to go Molly!

The Holidays

Happy New Year everyone!  I am Finally getting around to blogging our holidays!  We had a wonderful Christmas this year!  Uncle Wyatt came out to visit from Dec 22-26, we hung out with friends, and had a wonderful visit from Santa Claus!

I'll start off with our visit to see Santa at the mall.  Last year, Molly was NOT a fan of the big guy, but this year, leading up to our visit, she aways seemed so excited to talk about him, see his pictures in books or on TV.  She even said she wanted Santa to bring her a "princess tent" (where do kids get these ideas from!)  So we got her dressed up in her Christmas dress, headed to the mall, and sure enough not a tear was shed!  She didn't smile at all throughout the visit, but she was able to get out a "hi"  tell him she wanted the princess tent, and a "bye" inbetween pictures too! So it was a success!!!

Moving on....Christmas Eve/Day was  lot of fun!  We made sure to leave cookies out for Santa, and in the morning Molly came down to lots of new toys!  I cooked Christmas dinner for our friends the Beals, and it turned out great!  We had a nice prime rib, creamed corn, green bean casserole, and homemade mashed potatoes!  it was delicious!

Leaving cookies for Santa!

Daddy was very busy putting together all of the toys!

Wants to take a ride in her Barbie Mustang from Uncle Wyatt!

Snow Day!

We got snow in New Mexico!  We had a pretty decent snowstorm come through on Monday, and left us with about 6 inches of the powdery white stuff!  Snow usually disappears within hours of falling here in NM, but here we are two days later, and hardly any of it has melted!  Gunnar was out brushing the snow off the cars this morning (the temperature was in the single digits) and he came inside saying he felt like we were back in Dawson Creek!
Anyway, so this was the first time Molly really played in the snow, and she had a lot of fun!  (I'm actually not sure who had a better time, her or Arnold!)  Even though the cold is terrible for his joints, being a greater swiss mountain dog, he totally feels in his element!
So here are some pics of the kids enjoying the snow!
